Hey all!

The university through which I am doing a distance learning master's has a requirement that the dissertation be spiral bound. (I have to submit two copies of it by mail)

Does anyone know of a place that can do this and about how much it will cost? (cost is somewhat irrelevant because it has to be done, but I would just like a ballpark figure for planning...)

Would I need an appointment and is this something that could be done same day?

I don't have a car, so within the city would be best.

I miss Kinkos (though I'm not sure they spiral bind...).

Spiral bound can be made by every good copy shop and takes little time.
I have had some done at the Migros Copyshop Rive:

Another suggestion near plainpalais: there's a print shop on the crossing between Rue des Sources and Rue des Voisins. I've done some things there in the past; small place but friendly service and fast if necessary.

Cost depends on the number of pages I think, but I'd be surprised if it exceeded 5-10 Francs (each). That excludes printing or copying.

I would just walk in and ask them if they can do it on the spot. It's a matter of a few minutes with an easy-to-operate machine.

Thank you both so much! sadly, the paper isn't finished yet... (yikes, no, I'm not stressed AT ALL!!!!)

But this has gone a long way to relieving some of the anxiety. Now it's just the writing I have to worry about. The printing I can do, the binding can be accomplished easily thanks to your advice, now it's just writing another 16-18000 words. I can do this.
