if all you need is people, I will gladly help. Any chance the best will fit in a regular car / carried on the roof?

Yes it would fit on the roof of a regular car I think. In fact I believe it would fit on the roof of my Opel Zafira, but I lack the required muscles and know-how. i will let you know the exact dates so you can confirm if you would be available,
