I need your advice urgently. I'm moving back to my country, being in Geneva for a year.
I read a lot about the terminating of the contract, and now so depressed about how to do it, soon I will go to the agency to speak, but I don’t know how to do it for the best result.
First of all to begin with they don’t want to speak English and are quite arrogant, last time it took me 40 minutes to wait for a person who speaks English, and I was there only for a lunch time. I want to terminate the contract and don’t want to have an additional fees, because it’s humiliating to pay such a high rental fee, make all the paper work at the beginning and now have problems…and I don’t want to leave them my deposit which is vital for me when moving to another country just because they may find many reasons to make you pay for a short notice, property redecoration : flooring, repainting, and filling-in holes made by the tenant's fixtures and fittings and many more….
So, if you have experience of doing this, please advise how I should go and speak with the Agency representatives, for the Contract termination?
Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Nina
