Does anyone know if there is a place to take parenting courses in English in Geneva? Looking for a course that teaches how to prepare for having a baby, how to take care of a baby, things we need to get, etc. Reading books but feel like I could get more practical stuff from a class. Am adopting so I don't have the benefit of an OB or lamaze classes to get recommendations.
Thanks!

sorry that might not be your best bet, I've just re-read your post about adopting and the classes were mostly about birthing, only 1 class about what to do afterwards, however, the midwives at this address are available to help new mums so you could drop in to the centre and find someone to talk to. Your paediatrician should be able to put you in touch with a midwife to do home visits too. Good Luck.

Congratulations on your forthcoming bundle of joy. I'm new to Geneva and don't really know of any classes, but if you don't find anything I would be happy to help in any way. I have a 15 month old and if you are at a loss we could meet and I could take you through my experience and also can give you a list of things we bought and we thought useful. Am no expert but happy to help.
