Hi,
Did you find anyone? I can help.
Hi, you could check out the Ateliers d'ethnomusicologie http://www.adem.ch/fr/musique - they have a list of both latin and arabic percussion teachers. Otherwise the Association pour la promotion des cultures arabes et africaines www.apcaa.ch offers workshops sometimes. Oriental dance teachers sometimes also offer percussion workshops too, but aimed at a public of dance students.

Jazz is more dominated by drum set. but in the end there are percussions playing in Jazz bands. Well, if you are beginner, jazz drumming is a difficult thing to start with. One should start with basic rhythms, and then you can advance to jazz. If you like latin music, I'd recommend you to start with latin percussions, from there you can go to jazz. There is even a genre called "latin jazz" although it is not exactly jazz. Its something like this:
