For this year it maybe too late, daugh not impossible. You can have a look at http://www.orientation.ch/dyn/1141.aspx (unfortunately only in French, German or Italian). You can find all the apprentissage vacancies availaible by canton or by proffession.
You can also go to http://www.citedesmetiers.ch/geneve that is more to find orientation.
Does your son know what does he want to do? That is maybe the first thing to find out.
Apprentissages start now in August - September but for nex year you have to start to look for a place in November this year!
