places for dinner in Geneva - heeelp:-)
hey there everyone!

a friend of mine is coming over soon and i am looking for a cool place to have dinner...

looking for good food (of course :o), place with dim lighting (i hate having the impression of eatingin an office or supermarket) and if possible relatively easy to get to on foot or public transport...

ideas welcome!

thanks in advance!:hehe:

For relatively low cost but in a relaxed, not noisy environment you can try the Greek & Meditteranean restaurant "Emilios" http://www.emilios-traiteur.com/. There are no "faults" in this place but it is not luxurious.

Hi there,

You can search for restos by area and style on www.resto-rang.ch

In the old town, my favourites are soupcon and cafe papon. both excellent but with different ambiences ..

bonne app !

If you want a nice athmosphere differnt from your office, I don't think you could find much better than Na Village, a Thai restaurant rue de Saint jean (5 minutes cab from bel air or railway station, bus 7 and 27).

Not the cheapest restaurant in Geneva but really cool place, they got a website(don't have link there but it's easily "googable").

There are some great places in Paquis with great ambience, young, trendy and low lighting with candles and lamps etc...

5 portes, rue de zurich ( with nice comfy sofas and chairs for drinks after dinner )

La comptoir, rue richmonte

Cafe arts, rue de paquis

and all easily reachable on public transport... :)
