question about new regulation getting work permit as graduate from swiss university

Hello everybody!

I was wondering if anybody could clarify or help me out on the following issue. Basically i'm a third country national, meaning outside of EU25. Now normally when taking a job, third country nationals are required to go through the procedure when employer need to prove that he didnt find any equal match in switzerland or eu zone.

Now, there also been new regulation, saying: According to art.21 ABs 4 Aug " no recruitment efforts need to be shown in hiring graduates from Swiss University who take a job in high scientific or economic value".

so, what does that mean exactly? anybody any advise?

Thanks!

ok, so for those who might be interested, i actually called on of the officials and this is what they sent me by mail:

Dear Miss,

Thank you for your request.

Foreign graduates holding a Swiss university-level diploma are eligible for easier access to the labor market:

·        To find employment, foreign nationals who have earned a Swiss university-level diploma will be entitled to stay in Switzerland for six more months from the time of completing their education or postgraduate studies.

·        Those who are successful in securing employment will be issued a work permit, provided the prospective position involves anactivity of particular scientific or economic importance.

Having found employment, it is your prospective employer who has to apply for permission to hire you. The employer needs to send the application to the cantonal labour market authority.

For contact details, please refer to http://www.bfm.admin.ch/content/bfm/en/home/die_oe/kontakt/kantonale_behoerden/adressen_kantone_und.html.

Applications will be considered on a case to case basis.

·        Particular scientific interest: May be eligible highly qualified scientists in areas related to their studies, i.e. scientific research, application of new technologies or other areas in which their specific know-how is of scientific interest.

·        Particular economic interest: A particular economic interest may be given in highly specialized areas or if there is a specific need for such personnel on the Swiss labour market.
