road tolls when driving to italy

Hi,

im planning to drive from ferney-voltaire to turin and I was wondering if anyone knows how expensive the tolls are?

And does anyone have any good tips on ways or alternative routes to avoid or lower the tolls?

thank you so much!

it should be around 17 euro being the Italian toll only and excluding the Mont blanc pass to get to Turin

If I m not mistaken that is about E 30 one way and E 42 retunr

you can buy very convenient subscriptions for one month or 20 passes

good luck

Ps I am afraid there are no alternatives to go to Turin

Thank you very much Stefano! I was very confused after trying to research it online, even via michelin wasn't showing or given any clear info re tolls! But that makes sense, and isn't as bad as i thought it would be!

cheers,

Evy

You can also go through the Fréjus tunnel not much longer.  I seem to remember the tunnel is free but you have the French tolls
