running club
I want to start running but have never really done it before. My fitness levels are non existent and i wonder if there is a club or something that i could join that would accept people of my level.. i saw a post a while ago for runners, but cant seem to find it again...

Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you..:)

i know the stade de genève, they organize the course de l'escalade and they have trainers, not sure if they do something for casual runners but you can ask :

http://www.stadegeneve.ch/

but the best way to start running is probably to find someone your level and to run together, you can find some programm on the web and try to follow them (distance, time, regularity, ...).

I can reccomend the Hash House Harriers, a worldwide network of Anglophone running clubs. In Geneva, runs are organised every Monday and Wednesday. Runs are organised all over the place, so you really get to know the whole area. Runs are organised to cater for all levels of runners, including those who literally only walk.

Usually, the local Triathlon-Clubs have instructors on-hand....

Can you recommend any of the local Geneva Triathlon groups.  I am moving to Geneva in February and have completed numerous Tris over the last few years.  I am looking to get more serious about them and a club sounds like a great idea.

Thanks.
