Hi there, any salsa event in Geneva tonight?
Thanks!!
Saturdays are generally highly variable for salsa, may be better to wait until Sunday, when you'll have at least three choices.
Today you have Salsa Virus: https://www.facebook.com/events/572205162866874/
Bit out of town, but easy to get to, both by TPG and car. I suspect it will mainly be portrican.
I think Brasseurs des Grottes may have salsa until midnight, but I'm not sure.
If you don't mind going out even furter from town, there is "le Ballroom", close to Annemasse. I'm planning on trying it out this evening, never been there, but they seem to have a mix of rock and salsa. http://leballroom.fr/soirees/

Sunday:
- Les Grottes
- Halle de l'Ile alternating with Bastions. Organised by Salsa Geneva. Most people like the Bastions, but find Halle de l'Ile too crowded.
- La Barje, pl Volontaires, in front of BFM/Usine. Organised by salsaros-de-hoy. Small, and quite recent, so participation is unpredicatble. Entrance is free, so you can just go and see if you like it. You can also drink with a good concience, since it's run by a non-profit organisation, selling local produce, and profits go to cultural projects. (labarje.ch)
As I said, for the Grottes this evening, it may be Latino, but be prepared for the music turning into Reggaton or something similarly undancable at some moment. (Since salsa dancers don't drink much, they try to attract others, who don't mind getting drunk.)

Thanks for the tips!! :) Have a nice evening!
It's Brasseur des Grottes, not BrasseurS ...
(Rue de la Servette 6)
Just to make sure that some people do not end up at Les Brasseurs (another pub, with similar name, near he train station too) where they would certainly find beer but no salsa
