satellite TV

I am interested in getting UK and German TV channels via satellite (only the free ones) is it possible using one dish. I have heard conflicting views.

Hi,  yes it is possible but you need to have a separate LNB receiver for each angle attached to your dish, plus a little bit of electronics near your decoder or a clever decoder to switch between each of the LNBs.  have a look at the link below.

with a fta receiver and a diseq switch and a satellite dish with two lnb's (one directly pointing at the weaker signal and the other picking up the side lobe of the stronger satellite.)

i have set up 4 lnb''s on my dish. 2 is a piece of cake. give me the exact details. for ex. astra D (28 degrees) and hot bird (13 degrees).

THanks for the info, we haven't actually got the system yet. Do you have any recommendations for retailers/installers in the area. We live in France near Bardonnex.
