I know of one good quality shop in Geneva, it is next to Manor. I don't know the street name but I can explain how to get there...

If you get out of Manor from the supermarket level, door on the side (in front of the pharmacy) you arrive on small place with a fountain. On the down-corner of the place you have a coffee shop, you go on this direction down the street and than you have a small street on your left. That's the one!

Or you can try by internet with www.les-bons-tuyaux.ch, all people who are subscribe to the site get an email every Wednesday with all the anounces that others posted. I know that every week people try and sell cloths or other things... You can join pictures if you want. Plus if you subscribe you get to know about some nice events or things going on in Geneva :-)

Hi,

The Red Cross have a number of shops in Geneva that accept and sell second hand clothes.  They have collection bins outside 3 of their shops.

Click on "Vêt'Shop" on the menu at the top left of the page.  It's in French, but if your French isn't up to it you can always get Google to translate the page for you :-)

thank you very much for giving me the directions for the secondhand shop and I will try to give there this week...also found a good one in Carouge (for your info) that seem to sell fast but slightly cheaper.

Already noticed that Croix Rouge will not pay and took some clothes to No.6 in Carouge but as you said the guy is quite choosy in regards to the brands and some more to Coco & Co. in Carouge as well. The lady there was really nice and took all clothes in consignment.
