shallow part of lake in Geneva

Hi, which part of the lake in Geneva is shallow (max 1.5m), where you can swim?

Hi,

You want to swim for training or only for fun?

For fun I'd recommend Genève Plage, Baby Plage (crowded) or Bains de Paquis.

If swimming for training, I particularly prefer Bains de Paquis.

Beware of the cold water and current even in shalow parts of the lake, close to Geneva.

Not all around the edges, even if you go to bains de paquis there's a place where you jump and it's 1.7m at least already.

For aquaboxing I'd go for the bains, looking to the phare, on your left, where it's more or less like a beach, but after a few steps it's +2m and over the end it's +10m. At least on this side you can control more and there's not a lot of current.

Your map is correct for the bains.

Baby plage shall work for that, but it's too crowded on weekends.

here is baby plage: https://www.google.fr/maps/place/Baby-Plage/@46.208471,6.162917,15z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x0:0x3a80678896407ca3?sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj9_JHfjOnVAhVD6RQKHYAPA_MQ_BIIlwEwDg

Enjoy the water, be careful on entering at once on very hot days!
