I know this question has been asked before, but i am unable to find the thread and therefore the answers... so I was wondering if anybody could help me...I am in the frustrating situation of not having a previous drivers license from my home country, and as i find myself in geneva for the long term, i want to sit my drivers license here. As i would like to go ahead with this asap, i was hoping I could sit it in english. Does anyone know if the auto ecoles provide driving lessons and the test in english? I would very much appreciate any information you could pass on.

Previously you could do the Theory in over 10 different languages including English. However in January this year that all changed you can now only do the test in French, German or Italian. Here's the official web site http://www.san.vd.ch/permis/examen.htm
