strawberry self picking
Does anybody know a place near by Geneva where you can pick strawberries? When does the season start? Phone numbers? Costs?
Or even better, would anybody be interested joining me for a lazy morning/noon (weekends only) on the strawberry field?

I don't have a phone number or name but there's a pick-your-own place on Route Henry-Claudius Forestier in Meyrin. Take the 9 bus to Jardin Alpin and walk in the same direction as the bus, go straight ahead at the roundabout and look out for the HUGE strawberry sign on the right. It's about a 5 min walk from the bus stop, not sure about parking.

in the Geneva countryside (exact opposite direction as La Fraisiere in Meyrin). Have to have a car to get there.

Thanks for the replies.
Coming from up north I can't imagine there would be some already in early June?! Was hoping for a phone number to find out when is the best time. Don't want to go all the way over there just to find out they're still all raw...
