taking the bus to Ferney

hello. I would appreciate any information. I have a moth pass for ALL GEVEVA. Can I use this pass to go to Ferney? I heard that I have to pay something extra. Can I pay directly to the bus driver?

Your pass is valid only for the Geneva region.

You need to pay an extra amount. Look for the option "Connecting ticket" in the automated ticket machines in every stop. It should be something around 2.80 CHF. If you did not have the pass, the cost of a full ticket is around 4.80 CHF.

You cannot pay directly to the driver as far as I know.

The All Geneva ticket ends at the Douane. You can then buy a Euros1.40 ticket from the machine on the bus, probably valid only one way. The machine does not give back change. Check with the driver though before purchase.

It's a while ago but if I remember correctly, there was a ticket machine in the F bus.

I was advised by a driver to go get my ticket in the bus as the bus was approaching the border. I think the ticket has ? 2 hours validiity?? or something like that, then. It's written on the machine.
