Hi Florencia,

I guess, weetamix.ch is best for electro, although I haven been there myself so far (but I plan to go soon). Other spots might be l'Usine.

Have fun

M.

P.S: Or you take Easyjet to Berlin => Watergate, BergHain etc... ;-)

the zoo (upstair at the usine) is a great place, you just need to look at the programm before, sometimes they are really special stuff :-) http://www.lezoo.ch

i also hear la crem and the deep club where nice places as well, or even the moa if you don't mind to go a bit further from the center.

Hi Florencia,

Im into that type of music too aswell but mainly psytrance, progressive and havnt really found anything over here.

Although i do prefer to party outside in the forest under the stars and in the sunshine then in club, but will party indoors if need be.

If you hear of anything good let me know.

@jaye M

I'm in the same boat, always keen for a good doof in the forest. Apparently Swizerland has a bit of a scene, but obviously more in the summer. head to http://www.rainbowtribe.ch/

There IS a scene, just not as obvious. L'Usine is a good start, and there's a few other gigs that also pass Electro, Dark, Wave, and more, much more...

If you want to stay in Switzerland, take the train to Lausanne and visit the MAD (www.mad.ch). They've got some great rave/techno parties on fridays/saturdays, with several rooms.

Even bigger is the Macumba (www.macumba.fr) in France with multiple rooms all playing different styles. As with MAD, the main room has some great tunes on show with respectable DJ's sometimes coming in from Ibiza, Japan and Netherlands. But you do need a car for Macumba...

Coming to think of it, I really should go to either one again soon, it's been a few months since I last passed by =

We, the likeminded ravers, should get together one day and PARTDAAAAAYYYY!!!

Hi,

I don't really enjoy the club scene here, but I'm mostly into breaks which are awesome but too rare. If it's four beat stuff it's gotta be electro or something else melodic.

However, two words: Electron Festival

http://www.electronfestival.ch/2010/

Last year it was AMAZING. Definitely made me feel much better about living here, they brought some seriously good DJs.

This year I am not too familiar with the DJs. But my friend who's a DJ in Chicago recommends these:

April 1 Sebastian, Toxic Avenger

April 2 Josh Wink, Zinc

April 3 Claude Von Sroke, The Japanese Popstars, Ripperton

I will probably go on April 1.

Cheers,

- P

P.S. Always wear protection! (Yes, I'm taking about ear plugs ;-)
