welding course

Anyone know where I might take a welding 101 type course? I've looked at Ifage and two other private schools but my german is non-existant and Ifage requires a french mother tongue....

I dont suppose anyone knows of an english speaking welding instructor? Looking for a more intensive type course like 10 days or even a course in the UK if needed but I cant find anything that isnt evenings over a period of months. Anyway thought Id ask

I would also be interested to know if anyone like to just show the basics of welding, if it looks good, i will get a basic welder just to do some simple stuff, i dont wnat to spend alot time and money or effort, just some easy welding.
