where to buy furniture near Ferney

Hi there, we've recently moved to Geneva and have found an apartment in Ferney. As the apartment is unfurnished, we need to buy white goods and furniture. Could anyone give us some info as to where to buy. If I buy stuff in Geneva, is there any tax issues involved when I cross the border? say if I buy something in Ikea (Aubonne), do I need to fill any forms when I cross the border? Any information would be highly appreciated. Jane

St Genis has some furniture stores near the Kyriad hotel. They are worth checking out.

Hi, many thanks for the message and I'm so sorry for the late reply, as we don't have access to internet yet in the new apartment and I can only check email at places like Starbucks. Will go to St Genis next weekend for sure. Thanks again.
