where to have a private Birthday party in Geneva?
Hi,

I'm trying to organise a party for my birthday in Geneva but I would like your advice on where to do it (or where not to do it!!!) any hotels with function rooms to hire ???? Which club to go to without robbing the bank...

Thanks

Hi, kind of depends what you want to do! Café des Bains on rue des bains is great and you can hire the entire place- v good food and a nice place-good music too.Otherwise Soupçon in the old town also lets you rent the entire place and then you are right there on Place de bourg de Four-Or if you want something on the Lake then Le Petit Lac in Corsier has a terrace that you can rent - quite basic food- perche and frites - but such a pretty place.Or you can look into one of the dinner boats on the lake which is really pretty and can take quite a lot of people. Hope that helps! Have a great birthday whatever you do.

you can always discuss your wishes with any restaurant that you'd like to go and ask for a deal based on x amount of people you expect to join.

The Mandarin Oriental has provided pretty nice deals for me as I've brought Glocals thru the door. They can arrange special meals or do a wine tasting event or wine & cheese tasting event if that's something you like. Then afterwards you can always walk over to Shakers and party the night away.

Email me for names/contacts should you need. There is no such thing as a cheap night out in Geneva, unless you have a do-it-yourself home party with friends bringing in things to share.

Happy Birthday!
