where to recycle/donate old clothes?
Hi,
I've heard that there are bins around the city for recycling/donating old clothes. Does anyone know where they are? I have a bag of winter clothes to drop off.
thanks!!
Dina

you could give your clothes to a broki, its a second hand shop run by the sally army, there is one in town.  I know some swiss citys also give you a bag every now and then to clear your stuff out and it will be collected.

you can drop it off at the Salvation Army in Servette, just behind the train station. you might want to call beforehand just to triple make sure but I was looking for these bins that supposedly exists around there, but couldn't find it. Found a lady coming out of the Salvation Army building and she happily accepted it and brought it inside.
