Hi all, I have a friend visiting me this weekend and I would love to take him to a wine tasting even in France. Does anyone know of somewhere not too far away that we could go?
Thanks,
Nikki

Hi Nikki,
Russin is a small village in the outskirts of Geneva that celebrates this weekend la fête de Vendange, which is the festival of harvesting the grapes
There will be wine and "grape juice" tasting for sure

Yes, Russin is definitely the place to go this week-end, if you're into wine tasting

Indeed. It is always an interesting event! They are expecting record crowds this year. The village is a mad house right now in preparation for the weekend's festivities. Wine and food booths are going up in every space possible. There will be music into the wee hours, (if its anything like last year).
Streets will close in the late morning and remain closed until later in the evening, on both Saturday and Sunday. But, plenty of parking is available outside of the city. So, it doesn't matter when you arrive (or depart:-)
