Amateur photographer in Lausanne ?

Hello,

I´m looking for someone to make some photo shootings together and so also learn from each other.

What would be also nice , if we could find some models.. but not for 200CHF/hour

I tried over anibis.com but 99% of these people want to make photo of young nake girls...and the girls..want a lot of money

But we can also "start" something like a beginner cours for people who are interested in photography and wants to improve their skills.

Hi Andreas,

I just bought a Pentax K-x. I enjoyed 35mm photography with fully manual Nikons from the age of 10 to 14, then mostly forgot about it. Now I'm playing with cameras again and enjoying every minute of it! I'm certainly in a good location for this hobby...

The camera had a focus calibration issue which has since been corrected; there are some really soft shots in there.

Hey there, seem to be enough photographers
around, me included :)

Have no HP online and not much experience in portrait/people photography (want to change that). My tools are my Canon cam and 35mm+100mm prime lenses.

Now, where are the models? :)

Thanks a lot for the nice feedback here...

I think we should start with something like a welcome drink to say hello to each other and share the first ideas what to do....

Where are the models.. Good questions.. I only found some girls for more than 100CHF/hour...crazy..in germany they paied me for my work

Time for pics, that's what I'd do as well.. Don't need a professional model, I'd rather prefer someone having fun. I count, the pics would look more natural.

What about having a drink at Le Brasseurs some time this week (like say 7pm)?

Hi all! I'd be interested in this too as I bought a reflex a few months ago but am struggling to understand exactly how it works :-S
I've taken some nice shots with it, but mostly on the automatic settings which kind of defeats the point! So I'm looking for advice but it'd also be nice to share ideas & tips with other amateur enthusiasts.

I'm away in France at the moment but travelling back on friday in time for Jasper's afterwork drinks. Are any of you guys going?

Yes, it could be an opportunity to touch base at least, but probably not the best place to have a first official meeting as there'll be lots of people to chat to (who aren't photographers!). Let's catch up then, anyway, and we can arrange something from there!
