I'm Swiss. I've visited more than once yet never actually lived in Ch before. 

First time in Lausanne.

I'm looking for a neighborhood where to rent a studio apartment.

For reference, I saw some online for around 1000 CHF a month or slightly cheaper.

I'm looking for a students / young professionals kind of area i.e. cheap but still a nice place to be around overall. A supermarket and a gym at walking distance would be very good i.e. not too secluded.

Also with good public transportation - particularly to the main "business" areas.
