I used to play with my colleagues a few times, but I am beginner too. I have 2 rackets (not greate ones, but ok for beginners) so I can share with someone.

Badminton course: I gave a thought to all your messages and here is my answer: if we are all beginners, we will not be able to play a match ... because we don't know the rules, and correct moves etc..... so tonight with Veronika we decided to go to Gymnase de Beaulieu to try out this beginners' course: http://www.lausanneamisgym.ch/groupes/badminton/

Every Monday (except school holidays) Anne-Marie coaches badminton. Tonight, we were 4, we learnt a lot of movements and strategies and ran....

Please come along and have a try ! It is not expensive and if French is a problem, I can translate :-)

Another thing: there is a Badminton Lausanne Group on Glocals but the founder gave up (I contacted him):
