Best school to learn French in Lausanne?

I recently moved to Lausanne with my husband, but know zero French.  I would like to become fluent, or close to, in less than 6 months.

I know that Migro offers language classes, but they are only 2 and 3 sessions.  I am looking for recommendations on longer term classes to help me get to being fluent.

Would anyone have any advice?  Thanks!

Hi Briana,

I studied at Ecole Agora. I liked so much.

Hello and welcome!

I have studied at the Migros school in Lausanne and found it really useful - small classes, friendly teachers... I had a very limited (schoolgirl) level of French and attended the A1 intensive course - three hours every weekday morning for four weeks. There is an intensive debutante course commencing on 27th August which runs on similar hours (i.e every morning for four weeks).

Hope this helps! There are lots of courses out there but Migros tend to offer the most competitive prices.
