Hi all,
I recently moved to Lausanne and just got my stuff air-freighted to me a couple days ago.
I had shipped my entire desktop over, but when I fixed everything up, my CPU just won't work.
Does anyone know of a reliable and relatively inexpensive computer repair shop or person that I can bring my problem to?
Thanks!

Thanks for the info Jasper! But one question, do they offer repair services?

Sherman,
I do computer repair services and I'm heading for Lausanne this week, probably Tuesday.
But, if you are talking about a desktop PC after transit, chances are pretty good that some of your connections inside are just loose. Have you tried opening the computer and just looking around a bit?
In any case, PM me if you want to know my schedule for next week and we can arrange something.
Zonker
Computer Problems? I can help. PM me.

Hi,
I suggest SMARTEK in Lausanne (Rue de l'Ale, North of Place Bel Air).
Website: http://www.smartek.ch/
See Stephane there (proprietor)
cheers!

Yes pctop offers qualified repair services - they charge the time spent up to a reasonable limit - a loose connector would be free of charge

I am terribly glad to be able to receive help by posting on glocals.
Zonker came over and promptly fixed my computer.
Thanks dude, you're one helluva nice guy!
I really recommend looking for Zonker if you have computer problems whatsoever.
