What kind of dancing shoes?
There is a store in Lausanne on r. Grand St. Jean. It's across from the Cocooning soap shop. I haven't actually gone in. Just saw it as I passed and made a mental note (obvious for when someone on Glocals would ask about dancing shoes). ;)
I've purchased tango shoes. But I bought them online from the UK. If you want the name of that shop, let me know.

To my opinion the best is to buy dance shoes online - you have a very big choice and reasonable prices. Read carefully the description of manufacturer and choose the right size. Think also which height of the heel will be convenient for you. Normally you can always return the shoes bought online if they don't suit you or you simply don't like them. Below are 2 internet addresses which I used myself and was absolutely satisfied
. Good luck!

Several dance schools will sell shoes. E.g. I know that salsaros-de-hoy display prominently a collection of shoes they sell.
Personally, I just found something on ebay. The size wasn't as I expected, so I bought a larger pair. However it's probably less complicated for a man. (I've never understood the science of women's dance shoes, and the amount of time that women can spend discussing such shoes.)

If your feet are not complicated and you buy with ease any pair of shoes that look good, you may try online shops.
I have never been like that, my feet are wide and very thin, unfortunate combination. I spent an hour trying shoes at the dance shop at Rue de la Corraterie. Very good quality shoes, but they either hurt my feet, or were just too loose. I tried at least 20 pairs, different brands. Imagine how many returns would it be, if I bought those on the internet !
I tried then the dance shop at Pont d'arve, I think they are called "Opera, Danse". Right at the tram stop, direction Carouge. I found my pair after I tried on 5 pairs or so.
The stuff are very friendly in both places. I'm grateful that they still sell dance shoes in real stores.

Hey Mia M!
As dancing shoes I meant to ask a place where I can find a nice collection of all; Ballet Shoes, Salsa Sandals and Tango Shoes as well. It will be great if you can tell me the name of shop! :)
Thanks!

Hello!
Those who are crazy enough for dance, are crazy for dancing shoes and dance clothing as well specially women have always been crazy about dressing and accessories. We always look for classy and comfortable stuff and this is the reason why we discuss these things alot. :)

Hi Evgenia!
I am sorry about the trouble you face for finding the right pair of shoes. I can find the right size for myself but you know finding a right pair of shoes for dance is more important than any other pair of shoes as we must feel comfortable while performing.
Hope you have a good day! :)

I just went to the site were I bought my tango shoes and it seems they are closing down. :(
http://coleccionlarecoleta.com
They have a few pairs of Comme Il Faut shoes which are the most confortable heels you will ever own!
There is another online store that sells Comme Il Faut in Switzerland. But I bought on the site above because I found a prettier style. You can google Comme Il Faut Switzerland and it should come up.
