Talking about kennels...anyone know of one in the Vaud area?  Or a dog walker?

There is a great doggy day-care place on Avenue de Tivoli 3 in Lausanne. It's across the street from the Animed vet.

Hi Jenni! there is the SPA at Chalet du Gobet in Lausanne who have both rescued dogs and cats. they are the equivalent of the rspca in the uk. hope this helps!

Thanks for this Gibby. Have you used these kennels for your dog? Were you happy with the service/ setting/staff etc? I am looking for kennels in Lausanne (or not far from Lausanne) for my 7 month old mutt (she's black and white - funnily enough very similar looking to the dog in your avatar photo!!), and this place would be ideal in terms of location. Jahura H. Yes I'm very happy with the Tivoli Doggy Day Care place, I've been using them since I arrived in Lausanne a year and a half ago. The staff is great, the main day care guardian speaks English and the company is directly associated and staffed by the Vet across the street. The dogs stay in a large supervised room throughout the day where they can play together with many toys and places to laze around and they all go on a long walk over lunch.

Super! Thanks! I will definitely try it out. I don't need it that often (I am mostly at home), but there are a few things (courses) I would like to do, that would mean not being home for a whole day at a time, and I was trying to find a good option. I am going to check it out this week!

By the way, I can see this is day care only - you don't happen to have a recommendation for overnight kennels too?? There is a five night holiday I would like to go on!

They often do overnights for me, I don't know if it's common but just ask when you talk to them.
