Fancy learning tango?

Hi everyone,

I would like to take tango lessons but I still haven't found a partner... It's quite hard to find a man who likes dancing Wink, although most of you are naturally good at it ! If you fancy learning something new in a relaxed and fun environment, don't hesitate to get in touch with me, I'd be glad to discover this dance with you!

I live in Lausanne but I don't mind travelling to Morges or Vevey if it's easier for you.

Hope to hear from you soon !

@MD - It helps if you indicate how tall you are with high heels.

@LuB - Some tango classes request/prefer couples, others leave it all open. Better check with the organisers in each case.

I just participated a 3 hours Tango crash course and K-Dance took care of lonely participants. You have to announce when you register.

That's another thing if you will like the one you get attributed to Laughing

Hi MD,

Did you find a dance partner?

I've never done tango, but can do Salsa and Jazz ok. I'd been keen to learn Tango though.

I have been dancing Tango for a while (in GVA) and went with different teachers. Generally, most teachers keep it open for the participants to either come with a partner or with out because they might have different dancing policy e.g. to exchange dance partners during the lesson vs. to dance with one partner.

In my view, both ways have pros and cons as in early learning period; dancing with too many different parnters can confuse one due to variations in styles, capabilities etc where as only dancing with one partner can slow down one if the partner is not dancing that well Smile

Well if anyone knows a school and wants to go with a dance partner then message me as I'm always keen.

Eitherway... i'll just head down on my own when I find a nice place and see what happens.
