I have a massive toruturous deadly craving for cassoulet, so I thought it would be helpful to others to start a thread where we can post our cravings in hopes of finding recommendations from helpful glocateers. You can also post a recommendation (and any relevant street cred ;O)  ) along with your craving.

I've been disappointed overall with cuisine in Lausanne, so I am always hesitant to spontaneously try a place knowing how $$$ it is to dine out here...and usually receiving something mediocre :O( So I always try to get recommendations first! Thanks to everyone!

So 1st post:

Craving:  Cassoulet

(advice from French people much-appreciated but not necessary hehe)

Recommendation: yay finally a good Vietnamese resto in Lausanne: Le Jasmin. It is in a totally weird place at Beaulieu with nothing around, but is great! (street cred: i am Vietnamese and grew up eating my mommy's Viet food heehee)
