HELP! restaurant tonight in Lausanne

HI!

A friend of mine is comming with her husband for a couple of days in Lausanne. I am joining them tonight for dinner. Do you know a nice (probably italian, cause they are not that brave and curious ;)) restaurant to suggest me, not in the station area or not too far from there? PS my friend is pregnant ...

The restaurant 'L'Avenir' on the Boulevard de Grancy is very good, and their pasta is great! I've eaten there several times and marcomarco once organized a dinner there - 30 happy glocalers can't be wrong! It's five minutes walk from the station (if even).

I recommend also to you Pinocchio,for me it's 1 of the best here in Lausanne like what acquarius have said. I've tried eating there 3 kinds of pasta in 1 plate and it was BUONISSIMO!

Le Milan is decent, non-super fancy italian but the main attraction for a pregnant women is that it's completely non smoking. :w00t: For a non italian choice, Cafe de Grancy is casual, non smoking (during meal times) and has a number of "les pates" on the menu for the non adventurous.
