Good luck, it is really hard to get one. If your salary is big then it's easier.

Maybe it's easier to rent a room for the beginning.

There is one agency that I know, they promise to find you an appartment within 3 months and their price is one and a half month rent of your future appartment. http://www.homequest.ch/

I don't have experience with them, but I know some people that do.

Hi Thomas - ridiculous as it sounds, it might be worth looking on Air B N B. Some people will let places (flats/rooms) quite reasonably for 2-3 months. Would give you more time to look depending on how long you're staying.
