I got my cat from the SVPA - they rehome animals.My cat is gorgeous and she was two years old when I got her.
There are lots of animal homes that give cats away(we had to pay to "adopt" ours)
Otherwise,vet's surgeries always have info about animals looking for homes.

I got my cats from SOS Chats in Geneva, Meyrin. It is a cat's shelter.
