Horseback Riding around Lausanne
Hello, I would like to start riding again now that I am back in Switzerland. I used to ride (English style, dressage and jumping) in Chalet à Gobet.

In addition, it would be nice to meet other riders, Legal Kitty

Did you have any luck with finding a place to ride?

I am also looking for a place to begin riding again (Dressage, hunter, cross country) and am looking for anyone who can point me to stables with adult lessons! I completed my Canadian Pony Club B level when I was 17, but it's been too many years since my last lesson.

St Genis-Pouilly / Thoiry area is preferable for me!

I'm without a car and in Geneva, so Lausanne would be pretty far to bike :)

Maybe if there's a stable that does novice treks a few people would be interested in going for a day trip or overnight camping trip.

In St Sulpice (10 mns before Lausanne), there is a school for riding & etc. Its in route de Vallaire. Call up the commune, maybe they can give you a better direction to get there.

cheers,

mike.
