I'd propose my house but since my mum came and cleaned up it lost the ambience.

On a more serious note, apparently the Chateu d'Allaman has had its ghost sightings. To copy Le Matin:

Le château d’Allaman est hanté par une marquise qui se promène sur les toits en robe blanche lorsqu’un nouvel hôte est reçu dans la maison. Ces apparitions ont repris crédit en 1948, quand des ouvriers découvrirent, emmuré dans une paroi du château, un squelette de femme auprès duquel se trouvaient deux cravaches de cuir du XVIIIe siècle. Et les historiens rappelèrent que la marquise de Langallerie était morte à cette époque au château d’Allaman sans qu’on ait jamais su où elle avait été enterrée.

However, currently it's being converted to luxury residences and I'm not sure if you can visit it.

I dont know any haunted houses, but was thinking of going trick or treating....

... :)  Let me know if you decide to plan something.  I believe I've given up on the haunted house.

If you decide to swap the haunted house for a big Halloween party, then drop by the big Sindy / glocals Halloween Party next Saturday, Oct 29. Last year we were 1600 guests, mostly in costume, for a wild night.
