Definitely intersted in some things.

I'm not into Cosplay or Manga or such, but a lot of other parts of the Japanese culture - a lot.

Let me know if you wanna go for something specific, I'll check if I'm available

Hey Kristina and Dominik,

I went to the Japan Impact today.  It was okay, not too many Japanese speakers though.  I wanted to practise my Japanese.  Did either of you go?

Nope, forgot about it entirely.....

But didn't expect too many Japanese there, actually.

There's a "Cercle Suisse-Japonnaise", ppl who organize -among other things- each year in November a Japanes movie week. Very few Japanese there too

You do speak Japanese ?

I do not, unfortunately. I did learn the Kana and some 200 Kanji 2, 3 years ago, and had a vocabulary of some 200, too.

But since I don't have any real, regular contact with the Japanese culture / language, I lost motivation. So, it's mostly gone by now :-(

Yeah, I speak Japanese - I lived there for 7 years.  I wonder if there are any glocal members who are Japanese.

Nice ;-P   I envy your for that experience !

You definitely can find Japanese ppl here; check in the (language) exchange forum. A few Japanese offer Japanese / French or German of English tandem.

Otherwise, you may also find some at http://www.mylanguageexchange.com/

although at that webpage unfortunately most ppl are looking to lear languages by mail exchange or skype-conversations.
