Longboarders in Lausanne

Hi there!

I'm looking for some people to longboard with in Lausanne. The hills round here are awesome! Anyone interested?

Hi Seamus. I was looking at some pictures and this seems to be really cool. Although I've never done (or seem anyone doing it here in Lausanne), I'd like to give a try :)

Seamus:

Not sure what your level is, but if you want to board worry-free, go to the Vallé de la Jeunesse park – which is designed for all wheel-based sports. http://goo.gl/maps/fuXtI

Most spring/summer afternoons you can just show up and there will always a group of riders hanging out, learning new tricks and willing to make friends.

I would recommend connecting to this group – these guys organize events, specially in the summer months: e.g. clothing the airport at Blecherette for an evening of longboarding - the runway has a nice slope ;), mountain roads, parts of the city, etc.)

https://www.facebook.com/groups/lozaneriders/

and definitively connect with Natan: https://www.facebook.com/natanlakonishok

Riding in the streets is a lot of fun, specially once you work out a nice circuit of back streets that have less traffic, e.g. the backside of Flon on the way to the park. Have fun.
