Looking for Recommendations: French Courses in Lausanne

Hello!

One of my new years resolutions is to become fluent in French this year. I am wanting to take french classes in the evenings/weekends and was hoping to get some advice on where to go. I have a basic understanding of French but definitely would like to improve my comprehension and become more comfortable using it as part of my daily life.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

cheers

Hello Shelley,

How are you? I hope you had a good christmas. I actually made the same new years resolution as you. I plan to improve my french this year.

I am going to a french school called Institut Fazel. It is based in Rue Carolie 2/Rue Enning 1. 1003 Lausanne.

I have went for one immersion day in November and will do more this month. I thought it very good. They provide classes individually or in groups and you can do an immersion week or just a few hours when you feel like it. The immersion is very good as you speak french all day even with your instructor during lunch so its quite intense but good.

Here is the site. Hope this helps

Hello Shelly,

What abour Ecole Lémania, near the station of Lausanne? They give evening courses twice a week at all levels.

The lessons take place Tuesday and Thursday evening from 18.30 to 20.00. The groups are small.

I can recommend this school as it has been around for over 100 years,

Anita

Hi I have been teaching French for the last 20 years, am a French native, have grown up in NYC, thus am perfectly bilingual.

I tailor my classes to your needs: first lesson is free and is to evaluate your level and show you my method based on internet exercises, paper book exercises, reading, speaking and writing. I mix lots of different technics according to level and needs and my teaching evolves with the student's progress.

I can teach anywhere in Geneva from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., from Monday to Friday, provided we can access internet or Wifi. Lunch break slots are quite busy.

Currently teaching one on ones at a permanent foreign Mission in Geneva.  On-going multi private lessons as well. Numerous references available upon request.

Review on Glocals available following this link:

Hope this appeals to you :)
