Looking for a French study partner at A1 level

I hope I am not the only one struggling with French for year without progression, due to mostly lack of motivation....

Anybody in the same situation is keen to look for a study partner, to motivate each other, and to track the study progress? Perferably close to EPFL / st-sulpice, and would manage to arrange after work / school study session two to three times per week.

Hi,

Have you heard of tandem. You exchange languages with someone for an hour or so. It's very good for learning how to speak properly and also for comprehension.

Anyways, don't lose hope!

Best of luck,

Neil

Hello,

I'm the exacat same shoes. I started A1 Level at Agora school, and it was just too fast paste for me so I didn't even finish the course. Plus it was so expensive. I've been in Lausanne for a year this month and still no French.

I had a very bad experience with AGORA, maybe they have a better response for a higher level of French but when I looked for French classes to help me prepare for a DELF B2 I was told "We do not perform miracles".
At INTERLANGUES I had the complete opposite and a very good and patient teacher that made sure that the entire class was understanding the lessons.
