Dear Seb,
Thank you for this suggestion. Actually I am looking for a group which is more quiet meditative as opposed to nlp (although this is great - I have studied it)
Best wishes

Here is the one I know about
http://wiki.epfl.ch/meditation
I know little bit about meditation :
just a quick thing:
our body is attacked by always 5 major points:
1. Sex > difficult to avoid but can be controlled with meditation
2. Anger > Anger is weakness that can be control with meditation
3. To be greedy > when we saw a nice car we want to buy a same one : ) or better one
4. Love > once we buy that car then we love that so much
5. Proud > ofcourse sitting in that materialistic object we are too much proud about everything.
So meditation is actually a way to control these 5 energies in our body in our daily routine life.
You can only try to control it but you cannot run from it.
Second you don’t need to go to a meditation place to do meditation, you can do it at home, at work or any place where you are sitting. You also don’t need to go to a mountain and sit alone.
So just close your eyes and look inside you is all meditation : ) , have a nice day

Hi Fiona. I just found the website Dojo Zen group at Lausanne while searching for meditation in Lausanne (I also found both your discussion thread!). Have you already tried it out? I have done the Vispassana course, and might try going along to the Dojo Zen group here to see what it's like. Otherwise it seems we might have a quorum to start our own group :) Jen

Sounds great. if I am not off seeing some part of Switzerland or Europe that weekend, I'd love to come along. Looks like they are on a restricted summer timetable for July & August with only early morning classes during this time - I start work at 7am so can't make it to 6.30am classes! I'll put it in my diary and contact you closer to the time :)

Hi,
I would recommend the Sahaja Yoga meditation. It's rather spiritual mediation that allows you to learn about the Kundalini energy, the chakras and the subtle system. You will learn simple techniques how to balance your energy. I do this meditation since few years and I can recommend it to any person who wants to know himself beyond his material, intellectual, and emotional reality. Meditation takes place in Lausanne in SY center located in ch. Des Rosiers 4 (near pl. Chauderon and av. De France), each Tuesday at 19.30. You can also look at www.sahajayoga.ch.
Feel free to contact me if you have any other questions.
Greetings
