I arrived on the 25th June and am staying until the 18th July. I am English though usually study languages at the university of Edinburgh. I am about to start my Erasmus year. I'd like to meet some English/French/Italian speaking people who know the local area or like me would like to discover it!

I am au pairing for a French speaking family and am here to practice my French! I would of course also like to take some time to relax, go for a hot chocolate at that cute coffee shop near the cathedral with somebody and hike in the surrounding areas.

I am on a budget so cannot do things which are too expensive...

On another note, which chocolate shops are the best in Lausanne, and which brands/varieties? Looking at buying chocolate as gifts and for me...!
