Hi,

I've used astero a lot for diving stuff but never had a lesson from them. If you can find the boss, he is very good. When asked about some courses that had been recommended to me, he gave very good advice, which was basically not to take the course as I already have the relevant skills.Watch out for some of the other helpers though, as they are often not so helpful.

They have use of a swimming pool near Chexbres

Also, although you have to go to Geneva, as it's difficult to get them to come to 'real' Switzerland, it's worth joining glocals Geneva Scuba diving and going to one of their meetings, or just asking on their thread. They have a tamed dive instructor called Felix, who is good, but Geneva based. Ask on their page, you will get responses.

There's another school in Renens, I have friends who use it, and don't complain much.

Which course are you looking to do?

I won't go as far as saying that either CMAS or PADI is better or worse than the other. They just have different philosophies and their respective pros and cons. But like you said no matter which agency you're training with experience is the key

Hi Ziad

Noticed you posed regarding diving and that you run a school.

This is a strange request, but here goes.... this moring I was kayaking with my friend on the lake and we lost a GoPro camera. I feel sure I can find it but am unabe to get in the water with out a wetsuit due to the freezing tempratures.

Do you hire wetsuits? I just need one suitable to swim for around 1hr and search where the GoPro fell in, I am certain as there is not too much movent in the water it won't have strayed too far!

Would be extremely greatful if you could assist in someway.

I hope to hear from you soon

Kindest regards, Richard
