My granny arrives on Monday for a 2 week visit. While she is rather spry for an 85 year old she has 2 artifical knees and limited stamina. She has become nervous about her stability and asked me to see if I can rent her a walker. Does anyone know where or if this is possible?

Try asking a pharmacy. Many of them rent out crutches, and if they don't have walkers, they will know how you get them
Also, when me and my family have needed crutches after accidents, we got them from a company called Sporthomed. I'm i GVA, but I'm sure they're in most other cities.
BTW, in French, they're called deambulateurs
