Where to live and what to do in Lausanne

hi All,

I have just recently moved here from the US (working at the EPFL).

Right now I am staying at my friends house in Bussigny, I would like to try and eventually move either closer towards EPFL, or where there is more to do on the weekends. Wondering if anyone has any thoughts or advice on this. I understand housing is quite difficult around here. Is there an equivalent of craigslist or something along those lines I could check? What are good routes to go about finding housing?

Thanks,

Thank you Sarka!

Dunno French, so it makes navigating that website abit tricky. Been very busy getting things situated at work, so have not put too much effort in to this. Hope this weekend I have time to check out some possible apartments. Have you been able to find many? How is the search going? Any luck so far? I did some other quick google search, and found several other craigslist equivalent sort of sites. Have to figure out which is ok, etc.

Thanks again,

Hey Ben. I do have the page in English :)) I dont speak French either. I am living with my friends at the moment and looking for a job if you would have any tips on good recruitment agency or somethnig.

I did register myself at easywg yea and so far I got like six offeres already in Lausanne centre no too cheap not too expensive there are lots free rooms at the moment. I was surprised with the amount and quick responses.

I am just waiting to get a job first  and then i will move out from my friens place to my own room.
