When you say 'web design', do you mean web programming? Do you mean Photoshop? Do you mean the overall principles of designing for the web?

I meant web programming and designing principles. actually; the essentials to create a web site. I already know photoshop,illustrator..... but maybe what would also be good is to have some flash lessons within web design .

Web programming, at its base, is HTML. Is that what you're after?

Flash is something totally different.

To be honest, I created my website (http://www.wix.com/zeynepbarcin/zeynepbarcin) with using a web based tool and I don't feel comfortable to have a web site with a web based tool as a designer:) for that reason I want to upgrade myself and to be able to create a personal website using my own domain.

also flash is a program that I am not good at therefore I want to improve myself on that one too.

If you really want to build a show-case site to feature your design work, I think your fastest AND cheapest solution would be to pay someone to do it for you, rather than learn web development from scratch.

I suggest you contact member 'Zonker' (in GVA), who has a web design + programming business, and who has very competetive prices.
