Great! It seems like we have a nice plan set. But we just need the "expert" who help us to make them.

I must not, I simply must not be tempted! But if there is one thing I cannot resist, it's temptation...so, if I can make the date, I would love to join. it's such fun cooking together, as Carlos says, it's participating that counts!

If we don't find someone who can teach us how to bake the cupcakes, we can find the recipe on internet or make something easier like apple or chocolate pie...what do you think? :)

In fact I was thinking to make at home, since I have a big table and oven, it would be much cheaper just to buy the ingredients and share the costs. I can offer coffee and tea.

Hello Ladies (and hungry Carlos)!

Baking cupcakes is one of the most fun activities one can have in a kitchen -- especially one with a good oven! In order to maximize your success in and beyond the kitchen, you must have top-quality ingredients and good baking supplies. Moreover, it helps to have some funky decorating ideas (plus skills, of course, although you can acquire those as you watch & practice). Thankfully, there are many great recipe books and Websites to help with the preparation phase and inspire you for the presentation.

In my (biased foodie) opinion, cupcakes bring joy to everyone. In fact, I spent 15 years in the U.S. and only met two people who did not like them (I still do not understand why!)... I love to not only create all sorts of scrumptious cupcakes (classic, contemporary or "edgy"), but also watch people's reaction when they discover the design and, even more importantly (to all, really), when they take the first bite... I would be glad to teach you all a few "tricks & tips", but I am not available this weekend. Please let me know if you are interested in getting together the following Saturday (October 13).
