I happend to stumble upon your question about a hotel in Amsterdam. I was wondering when you areplanning to visit Amsterdam? I happen to live in Amsterdam and am looking for a place to stay in Lausanne for a couple of nights somewhere the next few weeks/month. Maybe we could swop places?

I live in a very nice appartment 50m2 with a balcony in the west part of Amsterdam (15 minutes by tram from the Dam square, Leidseplein etc.). I do have a cat, but it's a very sweet one and doesn't ask for much attention. If you happen to be interested please let me know and we could exchange some more information.

If you don't find a place to swap you can always try couchsurfing, a lot of people do it when moving to a new place until they can find a definitive place

Thanks for your suggestion. Couchsurfing might be a good idea! Haven't done it  before myself but my boyfriend has and he has always enjoyed it. Will look into it! If you hear of anyone being interested in swopping places Lausanne - Amsterdam for a week in May do let me know!

Managed to find a long term appartment in Lausanne in the meantime. Really love Lausanne!!!! But maybe a swop Annecy-Lausanne for some days or a week or so?
