nothing planned as such. but I do have a long list of places i want to visit. Depending on the weather I try to go as much as I can. some of the places from my wish list are

 Lavaux wineyards hike ..

 Bachalpsee lake near grindelwald.

 in case of non-ideal weather zurich Zoo in the morning and at night the city looks amazing with all the building reflecting in the water.

 Zermatt Stelisee lake with matterhorn reflection in it and hike to grunsee and grindjsee lake near by.

 Pilatus Peak Lucern and the peaks at rigi and stoos

Farhan, I might be going to Luzern this weekend.  I don't know if I'll be driving, though.  Is it possible to get to Pilatus by tram or bus?

@ richard. yes you can get train / cable cars to get there to the peak. Info is here in the link.. http://www.pilatus.ch/default-n129-sE.html be advised the weather doesnt seem very good very low sun shine.

I think the 7D is getting cheaper until December, but the thing is rather, what lense to take... and the nice ones are quite expensive :(

Another recommendation: Pic Chaussy (good 2h hike up from Les Mosses) - stunning view!!! Just been there yesterday, but it was very cloudy. So I guess I got to go back ;).

Farhan, I'm taking a second stab at HDR so if I have some questions perhaps I could ping you?

Richard, as a 7D owner all I can say is DO IT! It's an awesome machine and if you use the Canon loyalty program (not sure if that is only US) you get it for 1100 (although you can buy it straight up for 1600 here anyways). It's a great camera and the AF is WORLDS apart from the other non 1D models.
